About Safe2BU
Our Challenge
A 2022 study by Dr. J. Tse revealed that four out of 10 Americans could not access mental health care when they needed it, and 42% of American adults who needed care in the previous four months did not receive it because of costs and other barriers. Additionally, many people start experiencing signs indicating mental health problems during adolescence or even childhood and do not have support to access care. "One major precursor of mental health disorders is trauma. Many people keep their trauma a secret for a long time. It is often a great relief when they finally find care." - Dr. J. Our Mission
At Safe2BU, our mission is to protect and promote the dignity and safety of anyone feeling marginalized, traumatized, and/or unsafe by facilitating a better quality of life through education, mental health services and linking our clients with additional resources.
Our Vision
Because we believe we are ONE human family living in harmony with the Earth, our vision is to consciously co-create a world that works for every person on the planet, in partnership with you, our global community, where EVERYONE feels empowered and Safe2BU!
Our Programs
At Safe2BU, we offer a variety of programs and services to support mental health and well-being, including spiritual psychology-based counseling, support groups, and educational workshops.
Our counseling services are available to individuals (ages 9-99), couples, and families. Our therapy methods include EMDR for PTSD/trauma, CBT, DBT, NLP, Psychosynthesis, Gestalt, and Reiki.

Our Impact
During the past year, we have helped more than 100 individuals in our community improve their mental health and well-being through individual, family, and couples' counseling and our support groups, like Healing Through Art.
